Launch of an online museum

Launch of the Online Memorial Museum of Ilya Mechnikov The physical museum of Ilya Mechnikov in the village of Dvurichna, Kupyansk district, Kharkiv region, was damaged as a result of the war. To ensure that the memory of this outstanding scientist — Nobel laureate and one of the founders of immunology — does not disappear along with concrete and glass, we launched an online museum at mechnikovmuseum.com. This is our response to destruction: to preserve a legacy where no shells can reach. We are looking for like-minded people — historians, scientists, educators, and caring individuals from around the world — who are ready to join this initiative: organize online events, expand the collection of materials, and grow the community around the name of Mechnikov. If the idea of preserving scientific and cultural memory despite everything resonates with you — we welcome everyone who responds.
